We retired Lucky's Rocket at the age of 24. Our
beloved bay Thoroughbred gelding returned to South
Branch Farms in York where he was to live his final days
hanging out in their beautiful, lush pastures. "Coltie" is a
former three-day event horse and fox hunter, and he
was our very best teacher for more than five years.
Whether students wished to learn dressage or jumping,
Coltie was happy to show them the ropes. All who rode
him fell in love with this terrific boy. We had a standing
