Harvest View riders have big
fun at Lancaster County Pace
Event
Kish won his first blue ribbon in the medium pace division of the Lancaster County Pace
Event, held in County Park on Sunday, October 23. Rachel rode Kish with partners Katie
and Dotz and brought home blue on their second trip through the course. Kish was
especially pleased with his ribbon, because he usually doesn't have the opportunity to
accompany us to competitions. Bringing home blue was extra rewarding for him.
Hannah and Hot John teamed with Cindy and Buck to win blue in the fast division, coming
in a minute ahead of optimum pace for the course. Anna and Ricky, Allie and Sky and
Cindy and Buck won third in the slow division, despite taking a short detour. They got back
on track for their successful finish in Anna and Allie's first pace event.
Cait and Mikey paired with Tara and Danny and brought home sixth in the medium pace
and fourth in the fast division. What a fun day we had participating in this event that
benefitted the Lancaster County Mounted Police force.
Kish and Rachel are happy with their blue
ribbon, which will hang on Kish's stall door
for the remainder of the week.

Hannah and John bring up the rear as Kish, Rachel, Dotz and Katie lead the
way. The group got lost part way through their first trip, but all three girls
brought home blue on their second attemps.
