Meet Cindy Gilbert
Cindy Gilbert is the owner/manager of
Harvest View. She is a graduate of Franklin &
Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, where she
studied English and Studio Art, after which
she held sales, marketing and public
relations positions in the corporate world.
Additionally, she is a student of
Moo-Duk-Kwan karate and an award-winning
amateur photographer.
A horse person since childhood, Cindy has
years of riding, showing and management
experience. Cindy is the head riding instructor,
manages the boarding program, heads up
our horsemanship camps and coordinates
other activities at the barn. In her spare time,
she keeps this web-site up-to-date.
She is a member of the
Beaufort Hunt  where
she serves as a Whipper-in. Additionally, she
serves as a volunteer and advisory board
member of Lost & Found Horse Rescue, and
she is their webmaster.
Cindy believes it's important to continue her
own education, which in turn, helps make her
a better instructor. She takes regular riding
lessons with USEA Leading Lady Rider, Sally
Cousins, and "L" Dressage judge, Sarah
Duclos. She competes Delight and Patrick at
the Novice level of eventing, and competes
Delight at the occasional Dressage show.
Mingo in his clown costume, with two-year-old Cindy

Halloween Parade.
Age 11 at Ludwig's Corner, aboard Tweed Coat. They win fourth place in the Junior Working Hunter Stakes class..
At 16, sitting on Hi Handsome, nicknamed "The
Orangutan" -- a fun, but complicated TB/Appaloosa.
With Scott and Delight after winning  the Hopeful Hunter Championship at
Heritage in Dillsburg  in June, 2004.

At age 13, riding Tweed Coat in both the Barrel Race and Jr. Western Pleasure, and winning a nice trophy.
