Heidi's Pot-Luck Picnic
featuring
The Dauphin County Wildlife Rescue
On Sunday, August 28th, we enjoyed Heidi's special send-off before she left us to continue her
education at
Tom Brown's Tracker School in Florida, among other places across the country.
We enjoyed delicious food at our pot luck picnic (boy, our people sure know how to cook!), and
then our special guest, Betsy Carricato (left) of the Dauphin County Wildlife Rescue presented
an educational wildlife program. Betsy brought with her two owls, a hawk, a pair of baby
oppossums and a black rat snake. She answered questions and gave us a wealth of
fascinating information about these animals.
